Neon colors have been so popular this year, and while I don’t miss many of the trends that were popular in the ’80s (zigzag crimping irons, anyone?), I am embracing neon like a long-lost, very brightly-colored friend.
Needless to say, my new neon glitters are some of my current favorite craft supplies, and I had much fun creating these festive holiday gift tags. You can check out the original feature (video tutorial included) over at k.becca, and you can find the Holiday Wishes gift tag die cuts in the k.becca shop.
Warning : If regular glitter is addictive (and it is), then neon glitter is doubly so. I find myself wanting to give everything a glittery, neon glow.

I had so much fun designing this year’s set of printable holiday gift tags, but I have to admit that I had some trouble finalizing a color scheme because I had about ten different color palettes that I wanted to use. I wanted something sort of retro, subdued, but still festive, and I finally decided on a palette of candy apple red, icy teal blue, mint green, and silvery taupe. Between failed recipes (thank you, gluten free baking experimentation!) and the fact that it gets dark at 4PM here (still trying to figure out how to take decent pictures without good natural light), I haven’t had much to talk about. However, I have been having fun designing gift tags, and they’re available in three colorways for you to download over at Paper Crave. Hopefully, I’ll have some more success in the kitchen in the coming weeks. Look for new posts soon!

I try to design a new set of holiday gift tags to use on my gifts every year, and this year I had a lot of fun with a wintry holiday theme. Icy blues, teal, pink, and red have been some of my favorites for the holidays over the past couple of years, and I made use of most of those in this set, which includes ten different tag designs. Print them onto cardstock and punch a hole for twine or thread, or print them onto sticker paper for festive holiday labels. Download the Wintry Holiday Tags (185Kb PDF).
